Throwback Tuesday
“Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.”
Decided to post a throwback Tuesday of my eldest and her friends. When you tell a group of 11/12 year olds that you want to have a photo session, no one complains or refuses.
A Jar Full of Memories
This is 25 years of button collecting from old shirts, dresses, pants, or basically anything that was being disposed. My great grandmother would instruct her children to remove the buttons and they were stored in this jar. With just one handful, I could feel the stories and memories preserved these colorful pieces of history.
Brothers and Scissors
On the left is a piece of hair that came from my four year old daughter due to her brother deciding that she needed a trim. 
On the right is her brother’s hair after mommy decided that it was unfair to leave his sister with a shorter piece of hair since he chopped it off.
Needless to say, the hair cutting has ceased (for now).
